If your family is a fan of Nyonya cuisine, do not miss this beautiful antique house who will be presenting their uniquely crafted Nyonya cuisine menu for this father’s day. This year, the menu revolves around popular Nyonya dishes with a touch of home-cooked feels.
They have chicken satay acts as their appetizer to spice up your appetite. Tur Tor Soup (胡椒豬肚湯) is the main soup that’s good for sharing among family and 4 main courses and desserts will be served to the table as well (RM198++ for 4 pax). All comes with 4 tri-colour rice, desserts and drinks.
The aroma pork ribs are so tender they could melt in your mouth.. yum!
We definitely love the concept of serving tri-colour rice, where each portion of rice has its own unique taste to match with different dishes. Next, the steam prawn is well cooked. We love it! Nyonya Char Chap and Brinjal Sambal also made our days during our visit!

2. D’ Fat Mona Lisa Cafe
D’ Fat Mona Lisa is a restaurant located at Jalan Free School Penang. It is an ideal place for family dining as the ambiance is pretty cozy, delicious food and price is very reasonable as well.
This month, D’ Fat Mona Lisa shows off its brand new creation – spaghetti. The spaghetti is chef’s masterpiece. Truth to be told, it tastes so nice, we really love it!
They are also serving mouth-watering breakfast set too. If your father is a morning person, you should bring him here!

Your papa is the king, right? If so then give Pony Tale’s Kings Of The Sea a try! Seafood enthusiasts will appreciate this dish. Our crew at Penang Foodie has tried this dish and we love it so much! Trust us, the awesome sea caught groupa will be grilled fantastically and pairing with pea mash soya brought this dish to another level!
What’s even better? The spaghetti is cooked with our all time favourite salted egg yolk. And look at how big the prawns are! The menu is priced at RM78.80++ with a choice of berry mojito or kiwi mojito. We think it’s a pretty good deal to treat your dad.
