It’s the Tastefully Food & Beverage Expo, they’re back after overwhelming responses earlier this year. So, for those of you who’ve been there and enjoyed it, here’s another round of fun, and MORE exciting happenings. Don’t leave just yet coz’ we’re giving all the details about Tastefully Penang.
What You Need to Know About Tastefully Penang:
Being the largest International & Consumer Food & Beverage Expo in Malaysia, you know Tastefully Food & Beverage Expo is something. Not only you get to have fun and shop at a steal price, businesses get to expand as well. See? It’s a win-win situation. Okay, happening on the 26-28 OCT 2018 at SPICE Arena, you don’t want to miss out the promotions and activities below.
1. Salted Egg Noodles Challenge
Join Tastefully Penang’s Salted Egg Noodle Challenge and winner will walk away with RM1,000 cash prize and goodies worth RM68! Admission is free, but only limited to 12 challengers. Registration starts at 2 p.m. just right beside the stage, so be there ASAP or you’ll miss it! Eat like you’ve never before!
2. RM1 Happy Hour
Who doesn’t love cheap price especially when it’s “branded?” Cup noodles for only RM1?! That’s a steal, college peeps will love it. Tastefully Penang knows your struggles mate. How to buy ah? Just head over to the registration counter to get yours. Flavours like Tomyam, Curry, Chicken, Seaweed & Mushroom are available. Limited to 2 items per person though, you need to be a little considerate right? While stocks last.

3. Answer & Get Free Palm Oil
Free stuff always comes with a price, but not at Tastefully Penang. All you need to do is answer a simple survey at Malaysia Palm Oil Council (MPOC) booth. They’re located at booth 126 & 127. A bottle of cooking oil (palm oil) will be given to you right on the spot. No scam no fuss, it’s a first-come-first-serve basis.
4. More Activities & Happenings
If you think the salted egg noodle challenge is the only thing, nope there’s another competition. 《劲辣粿条谁来jiak?》is very local, it challenges your tolerance and taste buds. Love char koay teow? Then challenge this extreme spicy koay teow challenge. There are also other activities such as Sushi Eating Game, DIY Chocolate and more. Did we tell you this time Tastefully Penang has added International Street Food Festival? All the ching chong good food you get to sample, your belly will love you.
5. Freebies & Promotions
You know the drill, Tastefully Penang always give out goodies bag. This time around, they’ve increased the number to 3,000! That’s right, 3,000 goodies bag up for grab at the registration counter. Still, you need to hurry because we Penangites are very enthusiastic. How can we not have Purchase with Purchase and Spin& Win session? Look up for their Facebook page because they’re currently having “Like, Share& Tag” where you can win food like Shin Ramyun, Kimchi Ramen, Chili Paste and more!
