Those who crave for a bowl of piping hot, hearty noodles will fall head over heels with the Sungai Pinang Duck Noodles. In fact, it has been editor’s favourite for over a decade. Locals would flood the stall juxtaposed Sungai Pinang Honda Showroom every morning to savour this delicious bowl of hearbalicious noodles.
The warmth of herbaceous, aromatic duck soup will really get you up for the day. Besides their bestselling duck drumstick, one could also opt for their chicken drumstick, duck meat or pork ribs to pair with the silky rice noodle. Do take note that their duck drumstick is always sold out by 9:15 a.m., so better get there early to avoid disappointment.
As much as we love this Sungai Pinang Duck Noodles, its ambiance isn’t the most ideal. Some might even find its hygiene standards below satisfactory. Well here’s a piece of good news, they’ve opened up a new branch at Lebuh Sandilands!
The new stall is tucked within Wawasan Cafe & Rest House Kopitiam, offering the same bowl of awesome noodles in a clean and airy space. Foodies residing in George Town no longer have to travel down to Sungai Pinang to savour their duck noodles. Do try out this new branch and let us know if it tastes as good as the OG stall!
