Hey Foodies, are you the type of person who loves the sight of food stalls and lined-up ready-to-eat delicacies? Then you will love the St. Nicholas’ Home Food Carnival happening this 24 September! Not only will you enjoy good food, but you will also be supporting a good cause.

St. Nicholas’ Home Food Carnival Is Happening On 24 September

St. Nicholas’ Home, Penang is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation which aims to attend to the evolving needs of the visually impaired in Malaysia. They provide education, vocational training and a variety of services such as social care and eye screening.

Although they have endured the heavy hardships caused by the pandemic, the home is still facing some financial difficulties to stay afloat. The rising price of daily operating expenses could not be covered by the donations provided, making their mission to serve the blind and visually impaired much more difficult.

Therefore, after years of inactivity, they are now organizing the St. Nicholas’ Home Food Carnival 2022 as a way to raise funds for their institution. The Home’s food carnival has always been one of the key components in their annual fundraising strategy; however, the event was suspended due to the lockdown.

Happening this 24 September, the food carnival will be held at St. Nicholas’ Home from 9.00 a.m. till 2.00 p.m. Purchase their coupons at the price of RM20 per piece to exchange delicious food, and to show your support for their cause.
