MBPP has just released a statement that 4 roads in Weld Quay, Penang will soon be altered into one-way streets. It’s an important change for all of us so make sure you keep reading.
4 Roads Around Weld Quay Penang Will Be Altered To One-Way Street
According to the statement on MBPP’s official Facebook page, the 4 roads that will be altered to one-way street are as follows:
- Pesara King Edward: From King Edward Roundabout to Weld Quay
- Part of Weld Quay: From Pesara King Edward to Lebuh Downing
- Lebuh Downing: From Weld Quay to Beach Street
- Part of Beach Street: From Lebuh Downing to King Edward Roundabout

From 26th December, 10PM Onwards
These changes will take place from 26th December 2020, 10 PM onwards. Additionally, MBPP has stated that these changes are to ease traffic congestion in the area. So, remember to let your friends and family know about this change of route. Bye!
