Hello, everyone! We’re back to update you with some good news! For those who travel across the 13.5km Penang Bridge connecting Perai on the mainland to the Penang island, it’s now going to be cheaper. Just a few days ago, it’s been officially announced that our toll price will be reduced by 18% for all private vehicles including taxis and buses!
Penang Bridge Toll Price Reduce By 18% Starting From February 1st
Many of us travel between Penang island and the mainland. Let’s admit, it’s quite a cost to cover especially if you have to commute every day. Currently, the Penang Bridge toll is standing at a price of RM5.60 for registered PLUS users and non-registered for RM7. But starting from February 1st, you’re going to get a 18% discount! And that applies to both registered and non-registered PLUS users!
If you’re still wondering what’s the price after the 18% discount, then let us do the maths for you. For those who normally pay RM7, the toll price will drop to RM5.74. But if you are already registered and are currently paying RM5.60, then it’s going to be RM4.60 for you!
