Penang Bridge International Marathon's Virtual Run Has Been Extended To 31st December

The commencement date starts on 21st November, ends on 31st December.
Registration is still open until 20th December 2020.
There are four categories to participate in.
Those who have finished within the qualifying time will be given an e-certificate.

Hello, everyone! For the past few months, most of us have been religiously working out at home, with some of us training for the annual Penang Bridge International Marathon. Unlike the previous years, Penang Bridge International Marathon will be virtual this year due to safety measures. In the latest announcement, the virtual run has been extended to 31st December 2020.

PBIM’s Ending Date Has Been Extended

The Penang Bridge International Marathon Virtual Run 2020 was scheduled for 21st and 22nd November. As of 11th November, it has been extended until 31st December. Despite the extension date, the commencement date remains unchanged on 21st November. It was reported that the date has been altered following the announcement of CMCO in different states in Malaysia until 6th December.

With the latest extension, runners are able to choose any time to start running from 21st November (0000 hours to 31st December (2359 hours). If you have yet to register yourself as a runner, you will be happy to know that the date has been adjusted to 20th December. So, if you’re looking to check this off from your bucket list, you still have plenty of time to start training!

For the marathon, there are four categories to participate in Choose from 5 kilometers, 10 kilometers, 21 kilometers, and 42 kilometers. Unfortunately, there are no race packs and medals, but e-certificates will be given out to those who have finished the run within qualifying times.
