If you’ve noticed, there’s been quite a number of new ventures mushrooming in Penang lately. We chanced upon a new Hong Kong-themed restaurant nestled in Bukit Mertajam. It’s called NO.1 CHADON. Serving an array of Hong Kong inspired comfort food, travel back to Hong Kong in the 90s with its retro chic interior.
NO.1 CHADON in Bukit Mertajam is So Chic:
Love the good old Hong Kong fares but fancy an aesthetic ambience? NO.1 CHADON hits all the right spot. They’re a new kid on the block to the uprising restaurant and cafe scenes in Bukit Mertajam.
The fact that they included “No.1” in their name tells you a lot. The interior strikes a balance of comfort and retro chic. Boasting a Hong Kong retro vibe in the 90s, there’s a sense of familiarity when you step inside.
Serving an array of Hong Kong inspired comfort food, you’ll find classics like HK Milk Tea, Polo Bun, Cheese Baked Rice and more! We heard that their Polo Bun is selling hot cakes, basically saying if you snooze you lose.
Don’t forget to try out their rice dishes as well. If you’re looking for a cozy spot for a no brainer meal, they’re the one. They’re basically your neighborhood restaurant but better.
