Probably the coolest cafe to check out in 2024 is none other than The Founders Hutton, a renowned cafe originating from Johor. Back in Johor, The Founders Cafe even hosted the Malaysian Royal Family as well as international and local celebrities like Jay Chou, Mizz Nina, and more. Their first outlet here sees the place retaining Penang’s historical culture via both the facade and interior. As for their food, you’ll be pampered with an array of brunch items, the World’s Best Bagels, and freshly-baked pastries.

The next place on our list of new things to check out is Batu, a cafe that overlooks an uninterrupted scenic sea view. Now, before you decide to head on over this weekend hit pause. That’s because Batu will only be officially open to the public on 2nd February 2024. But, here’s a sneak peek: Batu’s concept is where coffee meets cocktails paired with the beautiful Penang sea view, complete with a shady sundeck so don’t miss out on this!

A newly-opened floral shop + cafe in Penang, Naflow is the place to check out if you’re into pretty, aesthetic vibes. The entire cafe is also so cozy and don’t forget to order their beautiful cakes and drinks as they are all decorated with hand-picked flowers. There’s also an event space and flower arrangement workshops here too.

This is the kind of place where you’ll stay longer because of its enticing ambiance.

A cafe during the day that transforms into a bar at night, we’re talking about the latest addition to Penang’s hipster spot known as BuffRoom. In the morning, they serve a selection of pasta and a brunch menu where you can also sip on hand-brewed coffee. At night, this place turns into a spacious futuristic bar that can accommodate up to 150 people.

Once you walk through the revolving door entrance, you’ll find that the place is filled with classy European vibes. They serve a few selections of cakes, coffee and one that captures our attention is their unique Chrysanthemum Latte, a floral twist to your regular cup of Latte.

As you can probably tell from its name, Jinju Noodles Bar is the sister outlet of the popular Jinju Korean Food in Penang. The only difference is, this place specializes in Korean noodles that you can pair with cocktails. This place is both modern and classy so it makes for the perfect celebration place.
