Minion fans can enjoy their free time at a “pop-up” fun spot in Seberang Perai. The ever popular Despicable Me3 friends are making their way to Penang, building themselves a “pop-up playground”. This will be the biggest outdoor Despicable Me3 event in Malaysia, held in conjunction with Hari Raya and Merdeka celebrations.

Minion in Penang
Held over a span of 10 weeks (22 June – 3 Sept 2017), enter through a tunnel arch at the Penang Fun Experiences with Despicable Me3 and be taken into plenty of Despicable Me3 themed photo opportunities, including a 32 feet giant on-ground Minion made from flowers.

At a later date, there’ll be a 4600 feet Despicable Me3 Dome where visitors can enter for a tour of the Despicable Me3 gallery with lots of selfie and wefie opportunities, as well as a chance for you to purchase and bring home your favourite Despicable Me3 merchandises. One of the highlights that you’ll experience in the dome would be the Penang Corner, where you can capture your “Minion moments” with Penang elements.

First time ever screened with a starlight cinema in Malaysia, enjoy Despicable Me and Despicable Me2 under shinning stars. Plan a picnic right here and be entertained at the Starlight Cinema. Both movies will be aired once a week, on Friday and Saturday from 8pm-10pm. Bring along your packed-dinner and favourite snacks, together with a picnic mat and/or mini stools and you’ll be set for a relaxing evening under the stars.
