We found this local artist who drew a portrait of our well-respected Health DG, Dr. Noor Hisham on a Starbucks cup. Meet Luqman Hakim Mohd Khialdin.
Malaysian Artist Sketches Impressive Portraits On Starbucks Cups
Luqman is born in Kedah and is currently residing in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. Openly admitting that Luqman himself is battling autism, drawing serves as a way to express his emotions. In addition to that, Luqman’s drawings pay careful attention to details and he mentioned to us that he strives to give his audience an emotional feeling towards human struggles.
On his official Facebook account, there are plenty of sketches with a realistic facet and one of them includes the portrait of Malaysia’s Health DG, Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah.
Requiring no introduction, this artwork is to give tribute to Malaysia’s face that battled the COVID-19 pandemic. With frontliners in mind, Luqman even sketched portraits of them on several Starbucks cups too.
With such a talent, it has of course garnered the attention of many. And one of them is a Twitter reply from our Health DG himself! That isn’t all as recently, Luqman has even got the opportunity to meet our Health DG in person and gain the well-deserved recognition! Kudos, Luqman!
