The legendary Hai Di Lao give you a full package, from pampering session like manicure during the wait, to the drooling soups and unlimited choices, nothing is not worth mentioning. Now that they’re coming to Malaysia, Gurney Paragon Mall, prepare to go crazy!
Hai Di Lao Is Opening Its Third Store In Malaysia
After news of opening their first two outlets in KL and Petaling Jaya, one of China’s biggest hot pot restaurant chains, Hai Di Lao, has decided to also set foot in Penang. The group — founded in the Sichuan province in 1994 operates 300+ restaurants worldwide — will open a restaurant in Gurney Paragon Mall soon.
Hai Di Lao — which means “fishing in the bottom of the sea” in Mandarin and refers to fortune in the Sichuan province — is known for its idiosyncratic approach to customer service in China, with customers offered free massages and manicures as they wait for a table — a wait that can reportedly clock in at two to three hours in many of the chain’s sites.
