G Hotel Gurney has been announced as the winner of Top Business Hotel in Malaysia at the prestigious 2019 World Top Tourism Awards. The announcement was made on 16 October 2019 at a glamorous Gala Awards ceremony, held in Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur and attended by more than a thousand travel industry professionals, including representatives from all leisure travel genres and companies.
In order to encourage the efforts and dedication of the industry, Ms. Ada Poon has established a World Top Tourism Awards to recognize the contribution of the industry. The “World Top Tourism Awards” has been endorsed by the Ministry, by selecting best tourism operators and to promote the charm of Malaysia to foreign guests.
This is the 10th award that G Hotel Gurney has won this year. This award was established in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2020 efforts by the government to boost the tourism industry in Malaysia recognizing key players that other new hotels can look up to. According to Mr. Michael, General Manager of G Hotel, “This award not only has reaffirmed our efforts, but also drives us to strive for excellence and to maintain our standards in providing world class hospitality.”
