Ipoh dwellers are going to love this. Eating on a boat may get a little bit too pricey so here is another alternative that we can try. Floating restaurants serve not only as a place that gathers foodies but it is also a tourist attraction. That being said, a new floating restaurant called “Restoran Terapung Anak Perak” (Anak Perak Floating Restaurant) was opened in the contemporary city of Ipoh.

Two days ago (20th June 2020), the Anak Perak Floating Restaurant was launched by Raja Muda Perak Darul Ridzuan, Raja Ja’afar ibni Almarhum Raja Muda Musa. It appears to be supported by rows of buoyant underneath it making it float. Meanwhile, the floating restaurant will only operate from 7 AM- 3 PM for now.

Here, you can enjoy the serenity of the lake and retreat from the bustling life in the city. The cool breeze will take your problems away. Not to mention, the floating restaurant is the only eatery to open around the lake. Allowing you to enjoy the bare nature at it’s best. And probably snap a few OOTDs while you are at it.

You should really try their signature fried tilapia with plain rice. From the looks of it, they might even raise the fishes themselves! Clearly, the fish farm can be seen to extend from the back of the restaurant. If that doesn’t spell fresh, what else will? Meanwhile, the new restaurant has yet to get reviews.
