First Ever Nasi Kandar Restaurant With Drive Thru Opening In Penang This November

Hello friends! Living in Penang, there’s a fat chance that you have eaten at least once at the famous nasi kandar restaurant; Hussain Nasi Kandar. They are very well known for their lip-smacking dishes and over time, managed to branch out all over Malaysia. However, we have never seen them offering this service before. Infact, none of the nasi kandar restaurant in Malaysia has ever come up with a drive thru service.

Shared on Twitter by @XXXbyefelicia, apparently Hussain Nasi kandar is going to open another outlet in Sungai Dua. However, as clearly stated on their sign, this one will provide a drive thru service as well! Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. Investigating further, we found out that the restaurant will begin operation this November. And you can see on their Facebook page that the restaurant has even started to put up staff recruitment ads.

As you can see in the pictures, they actually came up with a decent drive thru restaurant design (with a proper drive thru lane and everything). Although Hussain Drive Thru Nasi Kandar has yet to announce their exact opening date, the netizen are definitely amazed by this little piece of news. What do you think?
