Now, on to the second piece of good news, our favourite convenience store from Japan, FamilyMart will be opening yet another outlet right here at Jalan Burma, Penang!
Third FamilyMart Outlet In Penang To Open This Weekend
2 weeks ago, our humble Penang island welcomed the very first FamilyMart over at Karpal Singh and trust us when we say, Penangites went berserk over this. The opening of Penang’s first FamilyMart is monumental as it is also FamilyMart’s 200th outlet in Malaysia.
One week after the official opening at Karpal Singh Drive, the second outlet over at Auto City, Juru opened its doors to the public. This is great news for those of us who are over in Mainland, as we can save a trip across the bridge but still get a taste of FamilyMart.
When it comes to FamilyMart, any sort of introduction is no longer necessary. From Sofuto to Oden, and all the way to imported snacks, it’s no wonder why we love FamilyMart so much.
So, in case you’re still waiting in line to get a glimpse of FamilyMart, then rejoice because yet another outlet will be opening in Penang. This time, it will be in the heart of Georgetown, specifically at Jalan Burma, Pulau Tikus. And, here’s the best part, we have the dates! Ready…it will be opening this weekend on the 15th of August!
The FamilyMart outlet at Jalan Burma is located right opposite of the Starbucks’ signing store in Penang. Due to the current circumstances, it will remain its normal operating hours from morning until midnight.
