Good evening Penangites! We’ve got some good news that we’re ready to share with you. Today, as of 21st April 2020, 12 PM, Malaysia reported 57 new cases, making the total to 5482. But, this marks the sixth day of having a two-digit increase in Malaysia’s new COVID-19 cases. More good news ahead so keep reading!
Zero New COVID-19 Cases Reported For 7 Days Straight In Penang
Quick flashback: Penang reported 3 new cases back on 14th April and from then on, there have been zero new cases. Simply put, for one week, Penang reported zero new COVID-19 cases. So, good job Penangites! As of 21st April 2020, the cumulative positive cases in Penang remains 119.

Let us reiterate this fact, even though there were no new cases reported for one whole week, the work isn’t done. The figures merely show that if we all abide by MCO and stay home, we can all contribute to the flattening of the pandemic curve.
