With the number of Coronavirus cases in Malaysia exceeding 400, people are now taking their hygiene more seriously than before. Blow your nose or cough a little, you might see someone glaring at you from the other side of the room. Not because they’re mean but worried. However, now we’re going to get a new service to kick away the worry. COVID-19 Drive-Thru testing is now available at Pantai Hospital Penang.

COVID-19 Drive-Through Testing Starts On 19th March 2020

In response to the first case of Coronavirus in Penang, Pantai Hospital Penang is set to start their COVID-19 Drive-Thru service soon! First introduced in South Korea to provide a faster method to combat the rise of worried citizens, this COVID-19 Drive-Thru service only takes 5 to 10 minutes!

So what do you have to do? As simple as it is, medical staff will come to take your temperature and also a small sample by swabbing the inside of the nose. The whole process is simple and you don’t need to get out of your car. It is basically the same as a drive-through restaurant, except now we’re testing for this respiratory virus.
