Good day foodie friends! If you could have one dessert for the rest of your life, what would it be? Well, as foodies, it’s difficult to pinpoint only one dessert, right? In fact, you may have heard from your friends that we actually have another stomach dedicated to savouring desserts only. So, if you consider yourself a sweet tooth, then we have a piece of extremely sweet news for you. Châteraisé from Japan will officially open its doors next weekend in Penang on the 18th of September 2020!
Châteraisé Gurney Plaza Penang To Officially Open On 18th September
Back in June, we announced that Penang will have its very first Châteraisé outlet over at Gurney Plaza and you guys were crazy over it. However, as there wasn’t an official date back then, we’ve promised that we’ll let you guys know once we have news. And just yesterday, Châteraisé has confirmed its official opening date! So exciting!
First question on your mind must sound a little like this, what’s there to expect from this new dessert store? Well, you can expect to find over 200 types of imported Japanese desserts here! Châteraisé is a dessert outlet from Japan that has signature pastries loaded with fruits. Aside from that, they also have matcha pastries, Taiyaki ice cream, macarons, cream puff and more.
They’ve also expanded internationally over to Taiwan, Singapore, China, Indonesia, Thailand, as well as Hong Kong. The very first Châteraisé outlet in Malaysia opened Isetan KLCC on March 2016. In Japan alone, there are now over 400 outlets of Châteraisé. Since it’s a crowd favourite, we’re really stoked to pay them a visit next weekend.
