Chapel Street Cafe: For A lovely Afternoon

Chapel Street Cafe is a newly opened cafe as well as a hidden gem located at Medan Lim Cheng Teik. It isn’t exactly easily accessible, we actually turned a few around in that area to look for it. But, there was a turning point. When we got in there, our heart sing, we actually love its interior and vibe.

You’ll be greeted by enthusiast barista when you first entered to Chapel. Then, the coffee aroma around the cafe will wake you up in a second. We appreciated the way the barista treated us, it was very sincere and nice way of telling us what are their best offerings.

Review: Chapel Street Cafe

Chapel Street Cafe

Chapel serves mainly breakfast and brunch menu. We ordered the hot-selling item Lazy Breakkie  – RM25 ( on the left ) and Scrabby Toast – RM 15 ( on the right) as our brunch.

Lazy Breakkie

Chapel Street Cafe

Lazy Breakkie made up of my favourite breakfast wants. It has sausage, bread, bacon, veggie, tomatoes, egg and more. Overall, this platter was alright, try the sausage, my friend!

Scrabby Toast

The barista recommended us Scrabby Toast if we wish to have something light and healthy. We thought it was a great idea, thus we give it a shot. This dish is topped with tomatoes and mushroom, laid on bread with scrambled egg. Well, it was indeed a great idea for a light and healthier pick.

This is Babycino – RM 7. It’s actually a milk topped with a bit of chocolate powder. If you aren’t coffee person, this can be your drink.

Interior | The vibes

Minimalists will surely appreciate its interior decor and vibe. It played well on its dark tone and natural light. On that day, we found ourselves a little corner in the cafe to enjoy our meal and wrote a post for Penang Foodie. We were enjoyed, a truly nice ambience for a lovely afternoon.
