If you’re not familiar with Indochine, we’ve featured them in the previous Father’s Day article. Indochine is nestled in a secluded area of Tanjung Tokong, and just a few steps away from the beach. This place serves Indo-Chinese food which includes Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laotian food. Though this is not a only-Vietnamese-food place, their dishes are true-to-taste and absolutely delicious. Did we mention the owner is a very lovely lady?

One of the latest addition to Vietnamese food in Penang, Saigon House has been talked about a few times in our blog. Serving authentic, homey Vietnamese cuisine, your heart will be contented. Saigon House is definitely wallet-friendly, so why not consider bringing your family or friends over to have a meal or two? Don’t worry about the taste as many Vietnamese claimed Saigon House as “home away from home.”

You might be thinking “Why so many restaurants with the the name Saigon one?” We don’t know either but Little Saigon does sound super cute. Serving traditional Vietnamese food in Penang, many praised for its oyster soup. Their beef noodle aka Pho and fried pandan chicken are equally scrumptious. The must order drink has to be Avocado milkshake. No joke Little Saigon serves really good stuff.

8. Ye Wei Vietnamese Food

Unlike any other Vietnamese corner in this article with nice setting and air conditioned, Ye Wei is just a simple coffee shop that sells really good Vietnamese food in Penang. We think it is so underrated because not many noticed Ye Wei. Run by a couple with the wife being a Vietnamese, you could just walk in comfortably to have a casual meal. From Pho to spring rolls and pork cutlet rice, they’re so good and hearty.

Who knew you could also have Vietnamese food while shopping. We’re serious, An Viet could be found in the basement Gurney Plaza, where the food heaven is. Everything, from stocks, sauces, to marinades are made-from-scratch in-house, and is cooked to order. we suggest you to order their sets if you have no idea on Vietnamese food. Don’t forget to pair your meal with Vietnam Ice Drip coffee, the Vietnamese way.

Our last recommendation, Little Hanoi, another name that will stuck in your mind once heard. They have a really wide menu for you to order from. If you’re a Vietnamese food expert, you’ll definitely love this place. Little Hanoi stands out when it comes to ambiance, the setting has a sense of Asian vibe.If you’re looking for Vietnamese food in Penang with better setting, Little Hanoi it is.
