Brilliant Watercolour Paintings By Artist Showcasing Beauty Of Penang
An album titled Celebrations & Nostalgic Moments was posted on the official Facebook page of The Art Gallery Penang. In it, there’s a total of 25 photos of watercolour paintings presenting Alex Leong’s sixth solo exhibition.
The album’s description reads, “Celebrations represent the festivities that are celebrated in Malaysia including traditional weddings. Nostalgic Moments refer to his memories of schooling days, especially after school spending happy times with friends while waiting for the bus or parents or having a quick snack.”
Under Celebrations, there are photos of cultural events paintings such as Bak Zhang Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Chinese New Year Celebrations, and more.
While on the other hand, the Nostalgic Moments feature 5 notable schools in Penang. They are Chung Ling High School, Convent Light Street, Penang Chinese Girls Primary School, Penang Free School and St Xavier’s Institution.
