The cool Little Penang Street Market is a monthly bazaar that takes place along Upper Penang Road every last Sunday of the month from 10:00 – 17:00. A non-profit community venture operated voluntarily by locals featuring over 70 craft stalls with food, live performances, visual arts, hands-on demonstrations and other activities such as children’s activities and book readings.

In celebration of Penang Car Free Day, Project Occupy Beach Street will close Lebuh Pantai, Lebuh Bishop, Lebuh Gereja and Gat Lebuh Gereja from traffic and dedicate these streets to a street market, outdoor sports and family-friendly activities every Sunday morning.
