2. Check Out Museums
Over the years, the museum scene in Penang is booming. Made In Penang Interactive Museum is a great place for kids to learn about Penang, while taking photographs with the murals. Learn everything about butterflies and other insects at Entopia by Penang Butterfly Farm. It is a place where butterflies and insects fly free! There are two spots for you to discover, The Natureland living outdoor gardens and The Cocoon indoor discovery center. There are different sessions and talks daily, so you need to check out the programs you are interested in before you go!
4. Check Out Escape
Escape is a must-visit if you are in Teluk Bahang! Visits to Escape will always be a memorable one with so many outdoor adventures waiting for you. Kids can jump on trampolines, glide through flying fox, and climb their hearts away. Not to worry, there will be a safety harness. While you are it, you can also check out the Escape’s water park for some fun under the sun!
5. Visit Tech Dome
Turn your kids into the next Albert Einstein at Tech Dome. There are many activities for kids to explore at Exploration Zone that will help them to think, explore, and play while indirectly learning scientific concepts. 6. Go To Countryside Stables
Sure, kids have seen horses on the television. It is time to introduce the real thing to them! There are many more animals at Countryside Stables including rabbit, goats, ducks, and peacocks. Basically, you are visiting a mini zoo! Don’t worry about hygiene as many people have commented that the place is clean and cosy. By the way, you can get ice-cream right here too!
7. Visit The Beach
How often do you visit the beach in Penang? It is definitely something that we have always put off in our schedule. Beaches are great to build sandcastle and picnic! Pack some light food and beverages and head down to the beach for a good time! Have some extra cash? Go to Tanjung Bungah Beach and do some water activities like banana boating with your kids.
8. Visit Pet Cafes
There are many pet cafes scattered around the island for you to choose from! You can check out Corgi & The Gang, and even White Paws Mansion. It is safe for kids as all the animals in the cafe are very tame. It will be a great way to turn your kids into animal lovers. At pet cafes, you can snack on small bites while your kids play with animals. We would like to apologise if your kids want a pet for themselves after the visit.

9. Check Out Saanen Dairy Goat Farm
We promise that this is the last animal-related activity on the list! Nestled in Balik Pulau, Saanen Dairy Goat Farm is a great place to visit to learn more about goats. Kids can pet and feed them during the visit. Apart from that, you can take home goat milk, and many more. Similar to Countryside Stables, there are other animals on site such as geese, ducks, deer, and ostriches. You will be pleased to know that it is clean and tidy!
10. Go To Penang Hill
Taking the tram up to Penang Hill is a fun adventure itself! Penang Hill is a great place to explore as there are many tourist attractions including The Habitat. Kids wouldn’t be complaining about the weather because it has a cool breeze! Penang Hill has a good combination of breathtaking views, mother nature, heritage, history, and cultural diversity.
