1. Hai Di Lao
Ready for Halloween? The popular hotpot chain Hai Di Lao has released a special Halloween meal set for this spooky occasion (only available Monday to Friday, 11am to 5pm). It comes with 2 soups, 3 vegetables and 5 meats of your choice from the menu selection. The best part is, you also get to redeem exclusive Halloween merchandise with each set!
You’ll either get a surprise pumpkin plush, vampire panda convertible blanket or a vampire panda hug pillow. There are only limited quantities available and Hai Di Lao merch always runs out fast, so so hurry and plan your hotpot date now~

2. YOLK
This popular brunch spot is back at it again for the spooky occasion! This year, their Halloween transformation got a lot darker with a black-themed gothic vibe. Step into a Halloween wonderland filled with floating skeletons, flying witches and eerie deco that makes you feel like you’re in a horror murder movie! This is the perfect place to bring your besties and fur babies for a Halloween lunch date for sure~

3. Hanakoya Flower Café Penang
Hanakoya Flower Café doesn’t disappoint when it comes to special-themed desserts! Each year, they release special Halloween menus for the spooktacular occasion and this time, they have launched the “Burnt Burnt Burnt” series. Think desserts being lit up with an eerie orange flame, kinda cool right? 4. HAP Dessert & Toast
For this year’s Halloween, HAP Dessert & Toast introduced the Wicked Taro-Matcha Kakigori and a vampire series – choose between Shibuya toast or soufflé pancake! Sink your fangs into matcha shaved ice that looks like a monster, or eyeball charcoal desserts with blood-red strawberry sauce and premium strawberry cheesecake gelato~

5. Tujoh Bar
Next, introducing Tujoh Bar in George Town that has gone through a creepy transformation this spooky October! Think dim red lighting, Chinese joss papers, “Xi” character paper cut and red lanterns everywhere. Yup, this place now reminds us of the ghost marriage scenes from Chinese horror movies!

6. A Sip Speakeasy & Bar | Page II by A Sip
Located at Juru Sentral, A Sip Speakeasy & Bar doesn’t disappoint when it comes to Halloween! Just like last year, they ate with the spooky decorations and special cocktails once again. It’s now screaming Halloween vibes with pumpkin lights, hanging skeletons, creepy graveyards and more! This sky bar has also opened their 2nd branch in December 2023, and of course, Page II by A Sip is also filled with Halloween vibes all the way!
Their signature dim lights is a whole mood, and the place is decorated with cobwebs, large spiders and more. They also released some special cocktails and mocktails like Witch, Vampire and Ghost to match the special occasion~

7. Kokoya Cafe
Those staying at Nibong Tebal can visit this adorable Chip ‘n Dale themed cafe, as they have released special Halloween-themed drinks too! There are 5 special drinks available, which are “mummy”, “magician”, “witch”, “vampire” and “bloody eyes”. Even the desserts like cakes, cookies and waffles are decorated with special Halloween designs. We recommend giving the drinks a go as they are just too spooky to resist~

Set inside a heritage building, this cozy cafe has released some pretty cute coffee and desserts for Halloween this year! Their new menus include Yuen Yang Coffee with No Face latte art, Sea Salt Brownie with a quirky face and more~ If you’re dressing up as a Studio Ghibli character, then this is definitely where you should go!

10. Halloween Party @ Hin Bus Depot
Party kings and queens! If you’re looking for somewhere to dress up and hang out in your slay outfits, then for sure you’re gonna have to check out the Halloween party at Hin Bus Depot! The popular Hin Market is hosting this special Halloween event on 30th October (Wed) from 5pm to 12am where you get to enjoy a spooktacular evening with sick music, costume competition and over 40+ booths~ Get ready to howl through the Halloween night!
