Currently, there are more than 200 types of product available in Ban Heang but their signature products definitely are Tambun Biscuits and Heong Pheah. Being the first in Penang who develop the different flavour of Tambun biscuit, they have succeeded develop orange flavor, pandan flavor, coffee flavor and spicy shrimp flavor which worth a try. Other than that, you would be spoiled for choices as they do have many others products to cater to the different needs of its customers, namely dried fruits, Penang’s local coffee, nutmeg and more.

The owner of Soon Hiang Biscuit Shop is very passionate about the making of Tau Sar Piah. Due to the huge popularity of the iconic biscuit, it is no longer possible for all biscuits shops to produce hand-made Tar Sar Piah. Fortunately, Soon Hiang is still a small handful of traditional hand made Tau Sar Piah shops where locals go to. Starting with making the green (mung) bean paste and the dough, everything is made from scratch at Soon Hiang and this explained why their production rate is low. So if you are coming to Soon Hiang for Tau Sar Piah, do come early to avoid disappointment.

Their signature Tau Sar Piah comes with a variety choice of flavours. From original to pandan and even sambal udang, everything is baked to perfect.
