Escape Theme Park located in Teluk Bahang has always been the go-to destination for all fun activities. When the theme park started, it was filled with thrilling activities including Flying Lemur, Kite Flyer, and Go Bananas. Escape visitors will have a good time climbing!
World’s Longest Water Slide is opening soon
In recent years, Escape has further expended by opening a water theme park. It looks pretty legit, too! The water theme park is equipped with Family Twister, Lazy River, Mega Drop, Speed Racer, and other fun rides. But, we have been waiting for the best ride yet. Since the end of June, the world has been anticipating for the world’s longest water slide to open at Escape!
Here are some fun facts about the longest water slide in the world:
- The highest point is at 70 meters above ground.
- It is made with 488 sections and 326 side guards.
- The water slide was joined together with 10,248 sets of nuts and bolts.
- Additionally, it is also attached using 1,200 kilometers steel poles.
You will be happy to know that the world’s longest slide will be opening late next month. With that said, the third phase of the theme park’s development will be completed by next month. The new phase includes the long-awaited water slide, ski lift, hill rider, and tubby racer. So, we are pretty sure that the theme park will be a great escape over the weekends!
The ride of your life
Penang is going to be housing the world’s longest slide. Just yesterday, the RM5 million water slide received the Guinness World Records certificate from GWR adjudicator, Peter Fairbairn, as reported by The Star.
