First, there was the tastefully Food and Beverage Expo then came the PIFF Festival which took us by a surprising food crazed crowd and it just doesn’t stop because the Seberang Perai Food Fest is making a comeback and you should be excited for the weekend! TIme to ditch the weighing scale and mark the calendar from the 26th till the 30th of September 2018 for a day filled with food, music to get jiggy with, activities and so much more! Get the car ready! It’s gonna be a vroom vroom weekend!
What you need to know about the Seberang Food Fest 2018:
With a triple-combo of the Penang Agrofest, Food Mega Festival, and Northsantara Artwave Festival, the Seberang Perai fest from the 26th till the 30th September at 10 am up till 11 pm is believed to entertain an expected crowd of a 100,000 with fun-filled collection of plants, animals, food and art showcases so start tagging your friends and family cuz were not expecting you to miss out on the fun!!!!!
FARMING AND PLANTING INITIATIVES
The best part of this fest is the initiative set out by the organizers to localize the event and bringing the focus to agriculture-based industries. Calling out all the plant lovers to come around, gather and quench your passion and interest with 48 tents and booths luring you to spend those savings on potted plants, seeds, fertilizers, and farming product AND THAT’S JUST NOT IT! Crowds get to witness the padi-planting technique using the latest technologies, join discussions on gardening and environment with fellow planting enthusiast and initiatives such as Agriculture Department, Seberang Perai Municipal Council (MPSP), Veterinary Services Department, Fisheries Department, Federal Agriculture Marketing Agency (Fama) and Integrated Development Area (IADA), an agency under the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry. Slow breath, slow breath!
100 Stalls & Food Trucks of Snacks, bites & Exciting Programmes!!!!
It ain’t a festival if the belly is having a Coachella party of its own. Featuring approximately 100 stalls of food trucks and stalls one can devour on a large scale of local snacks and knick-knacks to keep you going while the kids entertain themselves in fun activities like the fishing competition, animal lovers gush over the cat show and everybody else enjoy the party over live performances, busking, and great companies!
By the grace of some great minds, smoking (Happy Day for the fellow lungs as well Woohoooo) and littering is prohibited which should contribute to more reasons why you need to be there!!!
