1. Venzy Tea (Queensbay Mall)

This is definitely one of the fastest growing milk tea joint in Penang. Ever since their establishment at Maritime Automall this August, they’ve been constantly stealing the spotlight! All of their milk teas are freshly brewed and they experiment with flavour combinations and toppings like no other. Their tapioca pearls as the star of the show are all freshly cooked, with none brought in. And yes, now they’ve just opened their 3rd branch in Queensbay Mall!  Just head over to satisfy your bubble lovin’.

2. Sushi Wafu

Sushi Wafu just opened their 3rd branch in Penang. Their dishes are all well prepared with fresh and premium cooking ingredients all sourced from reputable suppliers. Its cosy interior is completed with a conveyer belt that snakes its way around the restaurant carrying more than 50 various sushis for you to conquer. Pricey? Heck no. In fact, not at all. All sushi is priced at only RM1.80 or RM2.80. Hella worth it.

3. Jiong Cafe Penang

A new humble breakfast cafe that is disguised as your grandma’s house. The interior is very unpretentious, with basic deco features and decent lighting. What it lacks in fanciful design it sure makes up for with the food. they serve a hip and huge breakfast menu- including breakfast platter, mushroom & bacon pizza, croissants and wraps.

4. Dalala Bistro

Dalala Bistro, the brainchild of Monsieur 85 is a new tapas bar set in Acheh Street, Penang. This spot offers new-wave takes on the classics and some serious innovation. With their dishes all done well and enormously bursting in flavours, it’s the perfect spot for you to sneak in and have a bite of their impressively refined cooking. And yes, their impeccable service is always in tune with the vibe.
