2019 Edition: Top 10 CNY Decoration In Penang!

What is Chinese New Year without red colour?! Red, corresponding with fire, symbolizes good fortune and joy. It also a symbolic colour of happiness! Red is found everywhere during Chinese New Year, holiday celebrations and family gatherings. A red envelope (Ang Pao) is a monetary gift which is given in Chinese society during holiday or special occasions. FYI, the red colour of the packet symbolizes good luck.

Inspired by Three Lanes, Seven Alleys, a busy commercial area in Fuzhou, the mall’s concourse will feature the famous wooden buildings decorated with red lanterns, blooming peonies and cherry blossoms to elevate the Lunar New Year mood.

2. Gurney Plaza

The main attraction of Chinese New Year decoration at M Mall is the gazebo that is decorated with Peach Blossoms flowers that are tied around the gazebo. The peach plant is considered sacred in China, as the peach fruit represents longevity, and the peach blossoms symbolise romance, prosperity, and growth.
