Hello there friends! We’re now into the 3rd week of Movement Control Order and it seems like giving our cooperation has indeed proven useful. Although the numbers of COVID-19 positive cases have been increasing, the patients recovered and recharged are similarly increasing too. During trying times like these, any form of help will definitely go a long way. And such is this act by a fellow Penang JPJ officer, Shaiful Nizam Abd Bakar.

100 Protective Suits Sewn In 2 Days To Aid COVID-19 Battle

If any of us happen to have frontliners at home who play a major role to curb this pandemic, we know how much risks they’re putting ahead of themselves. Round the clock, they serve tirelessly to aid and heal those infected by COVID-19. While at that, protective gears are the only barrier to keep themselves safe.

This is where Shaiful played his part. He took up the initiative offered by a friend to help draw patterns and cut up materials to sew the PPE suits. Shaiful is an assistant enforcement officer from the JPJ community service unit in Penang.

“Seeing the frontliners work so hard for the nation has moved me to do something to help them. I am proud to be of help for the frontliners and the nation”, according to Shaiful.

Stay Safe & Practise Good Hygiene

Working under the scorching sun to swab patients with suspected COVID-19 symptoms is definitely not easy so if we can offer our frontliners help in any way possible, it’ll go a long way. For now, stay safe at all times. We can get through this together.
