A few years back, there was a spot located in the heart of George Town serving some delicious Maggi noodles topped off with cheese and frothy coffee. Famous among locals, this spot disappeared two years ago.Here’s the good news! Ah Lye is coming back even stronger with a brand new location at Tanjung Bungah.
Ah Lye Cozy Cafe Has Opened In Tanjung Bungah
Just announced recently, Ah Lye has moved to a brand new location at Tanjung Bungah. Tucked in Jalan Lembah Permai, this spot is hard to miss with its giant signage. Unlike the previous location, this new spot appears to be more comfortable with indoor seatings. We have a feeling that this is going to be a new favourite spot among Tanjong Tokong and Tanjung Bungah residents.
Opened since 1980s, Ah Lye has been around for almost three decades before the abrupt closure. Some of its notable favourites include Maggi topped off with cheese, toasted bread with soft boiled eggs, and frothy coffee! In addition to this, it appears that Ah Lye has expanded its menu with brand new breakfast treats. It is the perfect way to kickstart our day.
