Banko-yaki: Traditional Japanese Craft That Dates Back To 18th Century
The ceramics sold during this event are known as Banko-yaki ceramics, originating from Yokkaichi, Japan with tradition dated way back to the 18th Century. These ceramics are Japan’s most beautiful and are created with traditional pottery craft as well as heated at extreme temperature of 1200 degree Celcius to enhance their durability and colour. Also known as Banko ware, this line of ceramics has a high-heat resistance and evolutionary design, truly an item that has practicality embedded within its minimalism.
Take A Sneak Peek At Some of The Star Products
The Tajine Pot has plenty of features which makes it an excellent dinnerware; aside from its feature to withstand temperature of 500 degree Celcius, The Tajine Pot is also functional on gas, electric, halogen, ceramic hobs and induction cookers. It has an incredibly durable base that is able to accommodate strong heat while retaining even heat distribution and infrared rays.
The Nikomi Pot has a high temperature retention of 500 degree Celcius and is also gas, electric, halogen, ceramic hobs and induction cookers safe. These pots make cooking much easier as they are excellent heat conductors, lead-safe and are free from hazardous substances.
Beautiful Export Quality Ceramics At A Bargain
The real question is, how can they afford to sell all these ceramics on such a bargain? For the past 28 years, albeit using raw materials imported from Japan as well as adapting machinery and techniques from the country, SOA has been producing ceramics locally. These ceramics are then consequently exported to other countries like Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, Europe as well as Japan. So yes, what you are getting will definitely be value for money!
Aside from their ceramics being priced from as low as RM 2, there’s another huge news: patrons who spend above RM 100, RM250 and RM500 respectively will be entitled to free gifts! (If you also like their page and share the post of this event)
