Penang Foodie visits to Food Architect Penang! True to its name, you asked? You should keep reading. Fusion with an unique Asia twist, its menu ranging from pasta, burger, dessert, poultry, seafood and more. Don’t be surprised we didn’t order the popular Milo Tower, we simply think that it’s overpriced.
Food Architect is a person who spends forever crafting best dishes to suit your palate.
We ordered 4 pastas, and we think it’s cool to rank them for you guys! *Our ranking is based on our own opinion only. Don’t mad at us, haha! Here’s our ranking:
1.) Ebiko Pasta | RM20.50
Champion of the night, it tasted so good! Spaghetti cooked with garlic white wine, back olives, cherry tomatoes, shimeiji mushroom, red and yellow capsicums and creamy mentaiko, topped with slices of smoked duck. The smoked duck was chewy and delicious, we love it.
2.) Carbonara | RM 19.50
We love Carbonara with lots of white sauce, and it certainly does. Its spaghetti cooked with cream, milk, bacon and parmesan cheese and topped with grilled chicken. It comes with bacon slice and chicken, and it costs RM19.50, we think it was a great deal.
3.) Bacon Aglio Olio | RM 18.50
The spaghetti aglio-olio cooked with fresh garlic using olive oil, parmesan, herbs, and spring veges with chunk of bacon slices on top. It has 3 level of spiciness for the spaghetti to choose from, we opted for level 2, it was kinda spicy to my taste-buds personally, however my friends said it was normal, so it all depend.
4.) Golden Salted Egg Pasta | RM19.90
Okay rank 4, salted egg pasta which was actually our most anticipating dish that night. However, it turned out pretty “jilat” after a few bites. We were very disappointing and we suspect the amount of salted egg wasn’t handled properly.
We couldn’t resist the sounds of Food Architect, however it turned out pretty average. The pastas were mediocre except for its Ebiko Pasta. In the nutshell, we hope you enjoy reading our ranking write-up!
