Unfortunately, after contacting a representative from FamilyMart, it appears that it was fake news. Our deepest apologies. However, it turns out that there is a good market for FamilyMart in Penang. After all, the post garnered many likes and shares in a short period of time. No one can resist a good bowl of oden!

FamilyMart Job Postings Spotted

Just today, there is a FamilyMart job posting circulating around Facebook. Posted by JobsMalaysia Pulau Pinang, the post stated that FamilyMart is now hiring for multiple positions including retail assistant, store supervisor and store manager in Penang island. With the salary starting at RM 1,500, candidates must be able to go for training in Kuala Lumpur, and hostel accommodation will be provided during the on the job training.

Using our detective skills, it turns out that FamilyMart’s main company, QL Maxincome Sdn Bhd, has posted on Indeed as well. Seeking for a store manager for George Town branch, the salary is roughly between RM 2,300 to RM 3,500. So, if you’re keen to be working in FamilyMart, you can click here!
