Cruzty Lets You Savour Hungarian Chimney Softserve In Penang
When we talk about chimney soft-serve, Penang’s very first outlet serving this delicious dessert was Rollney. Rollney is now being replaced with Cruzty. But, fear not Rollney fans, everything remains the same, it’s just a mandatory rebranding process.
So, this begs the question. How many of you actually know the origins of Chimney Cake? Well, we’re here to do the job. Kürtőskalács, in Hungarian, refers to the chimney cakes that are often coated in cinnamon sugar after being baked to golden-brown perfection. Once that’s done, soft-serve will be added into the chimney cake, topped with various fillings and voila; the Chimney soft-serve is done.
Now that you know the basic process of getting a Kürtőskalács, let’s dive a little deeper into what Cruzty offers. Basically, Cruzty is a rebranding product of Rollney hence the menu doesn’t swerve away as much. One noticeable change is the price; Cruzty is slightly more affordable compared to Rollney.
Here at Cruzty, there are different chimney cake toppings you can opt for. Such as Golden Glaze, Cinnamon, Chocolate, Toasted Coconut and many more. Seasonal ice cream flavours such as Cheese Cake and Nutella are also available here so there’s always a surprise here at Cruzty.
