According to Onna, watercolour is a very forgiving medium and it is very easy to pick up, hence allowing her to feel the flow of colours through water. As an avid traveler as well, she draws inspiration from everything she sees and never misses to sketch it in the sketch book she carries around.

She began her journey with sketching and fully dived into painting 2 years back. She loves how watercolour flows effortlessly when mixed with water. Onna loves experimenting with colours and expresses her thoughts through themes surrounding nature.

Furthermore, her passion for art has brought her to have coaching workshops, acquiring a lot of students under her wings both locally and internationally in countries like Berlin. She has participated in several art exhibitions in KL and Penang showcasing her semi realistic paintings.

Onna is passionate about art that when something catches her eye, she takes her sketch book out and starts sketching beautiful pieces. Onna’s talent knows no bounds as she brings her favourite drawings of nature to life. Her flora and fauna inspired creativity stems from her love for colour resolution, detailing and strokes of each masterpiece she brings to life. She combines western and oriental techniques in her painting style where her concept is oriental and watercolour techniques are western. She applies fine strokes and brushes for her artworks.

“Breath”, the art exhibition by Onna Ariya was launched on 8th November 2019 from 6pm to 7pm at G Art Gallery, Link Bridge at Level 1 to initiate the start of the exhibition which will be on display until 31st January 2020.
