Run by a true Thai lady that has been localized for many years, it’s really easy to overlook Min Jiang Coffee Shop when passing by Air Itam Road. Just look out for O2 Clinic, the shop is located right beside it after the traffic light. This Thai Tomyam noodle is one of the few stalls in the coffee shop that stood out. 4. Lao Sher Tea House

Eaterland

From the outside, Lao Sher looks like a typical tea house where the older generations would gather and have tea over conversation. Little did we know Lao Sher serves really good Thai food, especially Tom Yam noodle. This humble tea house has only about 8 tables, serving down-to-earth dishes. Their bowl of Tom Yam is perfect for spicy intolerant people. Still, their Tom Yam managed to capture all the hearty flavors that will make you reminisce again and again. A hidden Tom Yam in Penang, pair your meal with their wide selection of tea.
